Head of Digital Ecosystem (Advertising Services)

Our client, a leading integrated marketing and communications organization, is seeking a Digital Ecosystem Lead to lead its Digital & Social Media capability.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing integrated digital strategies, strengthening digital capabilities, driving innovation, and delivering commercially impactful solutions for clients. The role will work closely with Account Management, Creative, Planning, Brand Activation, and other business functions to deliver integrated marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Digital & Social Media function and establish digital standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Develop integrated digital ecosystem strategies aligned with clients' business and marketing objectives.
• Lead digital strategy for new business pitches, strategic presentations, and client engagements.
• Identify opportunities to expand digital services and contribute to business and revenue growth.
• Develop end-to-end strategies across paid, owned, earned, and shared media.
• Integrate social media, content, influencer marketing, CRM, websites, SEO/SEM, paid media, and emerging digital channels.
• Develop customer journeys that drive awareness, engagement, conversion, retention, and advocacy.
• Utilize consumer insights, market research, social listening, and analytics to develop actionable recommendations.
• Establish digital KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting standards.
• Identify and implement emerging technologies, AI solutions, marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and MarTech platforms.
• Act as a senior digital advisor to key clients and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Present digital strategies, performance results, and innovation roadmaps to clients.
• Collaborate closely with Creative, Planning, Account Management, Brand Activation, and other business units.
• Establish quality standards, governance, workflows, and operational processes for digital projects.
• Manage team performance, resource allocation, and departmental budgets.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary digital team.
• Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in digital marketing, integrated communications, digital strategy, or a digital agency environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary digital teams.
• Proven experience developing integrated digital strategies for national and/or regional brands.
• Strong track record in strategic planning, client consulting, and digital innovation.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate digital strategies into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of digital ecosystem strategy, social media, content, performance marketing, SEO/SEM, influencer marketing, CX, CRM, MarTech, AI-enabled marketing, and data analytics.
• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and people leadership skills.
• Experience working collaboratively across creative, planning, account management, and business functions.
