About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Operations & Student Experience Assistant to support day-to-day administrative operations and deliver a positive experience for students, parents, and teaching teams. This is a remote, part-time role suited to someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced education environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operational processes, including class scheduling, student records, attendance tracking, and administrative coordination.

• Respond to student and parent inquiries through email, messaging platforms, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.

• Coordinate student onboarding, class changes, make-up lessons, withdrawals, and other student lifecycle processes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student, class, and operational records.

• Monitor student attendance, participation, and feedback, and escalate concerns to the relevant team members.

• Support teachers and academic teams with operational information, class materials, schedules, and student updates.

• Assist with collecting and organizing student and parent feedback to identify opportunities to improve the student experience.

• Help coordinate online sessions, meetings, events, and other student experience initiatives.

• Prepare reports, trackers, and operational updates using spreadsheets and relevant digital tools.

• Identify process gaps and contribute ideas to improve efficiency, communication, and service quality.

• Handle confidential student and family information responsibly and in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in operations, administration, customer service, student services, education, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Excellent organization and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.

• Comfortable communicating with students, parents, teachers, and internal stakeholders in a professional and supportive manner.

• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, and online communication tools.

• Experience with customer relationship management systems, student information systems, scheduling platforms, or learning management systems is an advantage.

• Patient, service-oriented, and committed to creating a positive student experience.

• Proactive, dependable, adaptable, and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

• Available to work part-time during agreed-upon weekday and/or weekend hours, with reliable internet access and a suitable remote work environment.
