Finance Executive (Digital)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading global digital infrastructure company . As the business continues to expand across the region, our client is seeking an experienced General Ledger & Fixed Assets Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end closing, and fixed assets accounting. The position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia .

Key job responsibilities include:

• Manage fixed assets accounting, including asset capitalization, Assets Under Construction (AUC), and Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records and ensure timely capitalization, classification, and posting within SAP.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to capitalize project-related expenditures, including labor and other capital costs.
• Perform monthly fixed asset reconciliations and maintain comprehensive fixed asset schedules.
• Lead month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and coordination with the finance team to ensure timely financial close.
• Reconcile intercompany and related-party balances, ensuring timely confirmation and resolution of outstanding items.
• Manage accounting for prepaid expenses and Right-of-Use (ROU) assets, ensuring accurate amortization and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare complete monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting notes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Indonesian GAAP, and internal control requirements while supporting continuous process improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting .
• Minimum 5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and Fixed Assets accounting.
• Minimum 2-3 years of external audit experience , preferably with a Big Four accounting firm .
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience using SAP HANA , particularly within the General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian GAAP , financial reporting, month-end closing, accounts payable, and fixed assets accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced multinational environment.
