Country Manager (Compressor)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on compressors. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 20 years' experience in sales in a multinational company for the job of Country Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Direct report to the Regional Business Director
• Responsible for formulating and executing country-wide sales & service strategies, improving network penetration, and mentoring the sales & aftermarket team to enhance customer engagement.
• Achieve country-wide sales & aftermarket targets, foster long-term relationships with channel partners, and ensure sustained growth and profitability.
• Develops and implements country wide sales & aftermarket strategies aligned with regional goals
• Utilizes market data to allocate resources effectively and maximize profitability
• Effectively manage country wide sales & aftermarket budget to ensure alignment with financial goals
• Establishes alliances with country wide channel partners across the trade value chain, recarpet, identify and onboard partners as per requirement
• Drive and govern adherence to sales processes for long term sustainability
• Accountable for on time submission of relevant documents to government authorities to ensure smooth operations
• Secures favourable pricing, terms, and contracts to enhance revenue from the country and drive the team for timely collections of account receivables
• Builds strong customer relationships across country to drive repeat business
• Develops high-performing sales and service teams

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering, combined with an MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred)
• At least 15 years' experience in sales especially in a compressor product
• 15-18 years of relevant sales & service experience with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing high-performing teams in the given geography
• Proven expertise in managing channel partners to drive in achieving high-impact results
• Experience in the compressor manufacturing or industrial equipment industry is preferred
• Strong exposure in compressor products and customer based
• Budget-management skills and proficiency
• Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
• Effective relationship management and communication skills
