Data Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable and efficient data pipelines, managing and optimizing both relational and non-relational databases, integrating data from various sources while ensuring its quality, collaborating with the development team to implement robust data solutions, and ensuring data security and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• 2-4 years as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Proficient in Python, Java, Scala, or other relevant languages
• Experienced with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)
• Skilled in ETL tools
• Experience with Big Data tools
• Proficient in management/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow)
• Experience with cloud services (GCP)
• Understanding of the business domain and data engineering's role
• Problem-solving and creative solution development skills
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
