Job Description
- Develop and execute plans to achieve company objectives.
- Prepare and submit monthly and special reports as required by management.
- Based at home in Medan
- Manage order intake, sales budget, and customer payment collections.
- Foster and maintain customer relationships by visiting and meeting with key customer contacts to understand their evolving needs and evaluate our company's relationship with them.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as technical support and product sales to engage clients and audiences more effectively.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the business's product offerings, technical analysis, and value propositions.
- Adhere to organizational policies and regulations affecting the sales department.Oversee the recruitment, training, and dismissal of department staff.
- Actively seek out new projects, business ventures, and sales opportunities.
- Provide innovative and customized solutions to client and customer issues.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, consistently reflecting company values.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, revenue data, and accurate forecasts to the management team.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management.
- Ensure all staff understand the quality policy related to K3 and the environment.
- Identify environmental aspects and K3 hazards, evaluate their significance, and implement control mechanisms.
- Ensure the implementation of environmental and K3 hazard controls through the environmental management system and K3 within the working area and department.
- Be willing to travel.
The Successful Applicant
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management or a senior sales engineering role.
- Experience in selling sealing or similar products
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a sales team.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of business products, technical analysis, and value proposition.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and presenting to management.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative sales solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal departments.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Medan
- Able to converse professionally in English
