Senior Mobile App Developer - React Native

IBMC is assisting an innovative international technology company in hiring a high-caliber Senior Mobile App Developer . Our client is building cutting-edge, media-heavy digital products designed for a global user base. We pride ourselves on engineering high-performance, native-like mobile experiences that blend seamless design with robust backend connectivity.

We are seeking a seasoned, autonomous Senior Mobile App Developer (React Native & TypeScript) to design, build, and ship a cross-platform mobile application (iOS & Android) completely from scratch. In this role, you will not just be consuming APIs, you will actively collaborate with the backend team to shape the API contract, architect offline data syncing, and handle media-heavy interactive features. You will take full ownership of the end-to-end mobile lifecycle, from initial architecture to App Store/Google Play store submissions and post-launch analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, build, and ship a high-performance cross-platform mobile app (iOS + Android) from scratch using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Backend & API Collaboration: Work closely with the backend engineering team to shape REST/GraphQL API contracts, handling secure authentication, data sync, and background jobs.
• Feature Engineering: Implement deep linking, push notifications (FCM/APNs), user account management, and in-app payments (Apple Pay / Google Pay).
• Media & Interactive Features: Build rich, interactive, media-heavy features including image handling, mobile editors, and real-time data updates.
• Release & Store Management: Fully own the app release process, including versioning, signing, provisioning, Fastlane/EAS Build pipelines, and navigating App Store & Google Play review compliance.
• Performance & Monitoring: Implement mobile analytics, monitor crash reports, optimize app size, and maintain Core Web Vitals/mobile runtime performance.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of professional mobile app development experience with proven production deployments (not just hobby projects).
• Tech Stack Mastery: Deep, production-level expertise in React Native (ideally with Expo) and TypeScript .
• Live App Portfolio: Must have personally built and shipped live apps currently available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (Live store links required during application) .
• API & State Management: Strong experience with REST/GraphQL API integration, complex state management, offline data handling, and local storage.
• Mobile Infrastructure: Proven hands-on experience with Push Notifications (FCM/APNs), Deep Linking, and Native Build Tooling (Xcode, Android Studio).
• Payments & CI/CD: Practical experience integrating In-App Purchases / Apple Pay / Google Pay, and setting up CI/CD workflows (EAS Build, Fastlane, or App Center).
• Language & Soft Skills: Professional working proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Comfortable making independent architectural decisions in a remote team setting.

• Strong eye for mobile UX conventions and native interaction patterns (avoiding a "web app wrapped in a WebView" feel).
• Experience handling real-time data webhooks or WebSocket architecture on mobile devices.
