What You’ll Do
You will build and ship production software end-to-end—frontend to backend—inside a structured delivery cadence.
Responsibilities
- Build stable, testable, production-grade features (not prototypes).
- Develop and maintain TypeScript/Node.js services and APIs.
- Build modern frontends and product flows (web apps, dashboards, internal tools).
- Write automated tests, improve reliability, and prevent regressions.
- Collaborate tightly with engineers, QA, and product stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and ship through CI/CD with clean release practices.
- Communicate clearly: progress, blockers, tradeoffs, and decisions.
Our Delivery Stack (You’ll Use This Daily)
We’re an AI-native engineering team. You’ll use:
- v0 for rapid UI scaffolding and iteration
- Cursor + Claude Code + Continue + MCP for AI-assisted development and refactoring
- TypeScript + Node.js
- Supabase (DB/Auth/Storage) when suitable
- Vercel for deployment and environments
- GitHub Actions for CI/CD, checks, and automation

What “Great” Looks Like at Sagara
We care about outcomes, not vibes. A strong Full-Stack Engineer at Sagara:
- Can debug issues quickly and explain root causes clearly.
- Understands tradeoffs (speed vs quality, short-term vs long-term).
- Writes code that other engineers can maintain.
- Can move fast under a weekly delivery cadence.
- Communicates like a professional—especially in written updates.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript .
- Comfortable building web apps end-to-end (frontend + backend).
- Experience with at least one modern framework: React / Vue (React preferred).
- Basic backend understanding: APIs, databases, auth, and deployment basics.
- Strong ownership, discipline, and ability to work in a team.
Education
- Informatics/Information Systems are welcome.
- High-school graduates from Software Engineering programs are welcome if your portfolio proves you can ship .
