Data Analyst

JALA is looking for a Data Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the shrimp cultivation process through data. The Data Analyst will also work specifically on the development and monitoring of credit scoring for shrimp farming. The candidate must have experience in data analytics and familiarity with data mining and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Helping JALA Farm and JALA Insight team analyze and evaluate the shrimp cultivation process through data.
• Providing insights to support related teams in data collection, processing, and reporting.
• Developing and monitoring credit scoring for shrimp farming.
• Designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics tools.
• Designing AI/machine learning algorithms that can model, predict, and identify any kind of data related to the operational and product team.

Skills & Capabilities

• Familiarity with data mining and data modeling.
• Able to collect and process data from any resource using SQL, R/Python, or other scripting and statistics tools.
• Experience in data analytics.
• Experience in AWS technology is a plus.
• Experience in using machine learning frameworks.
• Experience in statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, experimentation, regression) and familiarity with statistics tools (Matlab, R, SAS, or Python).
• Experience/portfolio in credit scoring cases is a plus.
