Production Technician (TE) - Onsite Batam

IBMC is assisting a client in hiring a vital operational leader. Our client designs, manufactures, and supports enterprise-class IT and AI infrastructure systems — from GPU servers to data platforms — all built, secured, and supported in the UAE. Powering technological sovereignty and strategic enterprise initiatives, they are expanding their global footprint and establishing a new operational facility in Batam, Indonesia.

We are seeking a highly analytical, technically astute, and problem-solving Production Technician (TE) to ensure maximum line uptime and hardware integrity. Based permanently on-site at our new facility in Batam, this role requires advanced floor-level troubleshooting and system diagnosis. Your goal is to work seamlessly under the client's international technical direction to identify process flaws, analyze circuitry failures, and perform immediate corrective maintenance on high-end server assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware glitches, component malformations, and assembly alignment errors on the active production floor.
• Fault Diagnosis: Perform rigorous PCB-level fault diagnosis to locate defective integrated circuits, trace failures, or solder anomalies.
• Technical Alignment: Execute daily operational tasks under direct technical direction from the Dubai engineering team to maintain strict system compliance.
• Process Maintenance: Collaborate with assembly operators to adjust equipment configurations, minimize line downtime, and optimize tool efficiencies.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous logs of hardware defects, recurring failures, and resolution workflows for process improvement reporting.

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree (D3) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of electronics architecture, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit diagnosis practices.
• Troubleshooting Capability: Proven track record in localized hardware troubleshooting and navigating intricate technical block diagrams.
• Communication: Capable of interpreting technical guidelines and collaborating with international engineering units under clear operational direction.
• Presence: Must be fully open to a permanent, on-site position located in Batam, Indonesia.

• Prior experience troubleshooting server motherboards, computing enterprise units, or high-density storage arrays.
• Understanding of automated testing setups or automated optical inspection parameters.
