Sales Manager (Industrial)

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial industry to hire a Sales Manager. This opportunity is based in Cikarang, Indonesia.

Position Overview

• Lead business development and sales activities to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer relationships across key industrial sectors.
• Play a key role in achieving commercial objectives by managing strategic accounts, developing new business opportunities, and leading sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the plastic packaging, thermoforming, and related manufacturing sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, multinational companies, and strategic accounts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from RFQ and customer requirements through sampling, costing, tooling, and mass production.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through active customer hunting and market development.
• Work closely with technical, engineering, production, and other internal teams to ensure customer requirements are effectively delivered.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
• Lead and support the sales team in achieving commercial targets and strengthening customer relationships.

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Engineering, Management, Business, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of B2B Sales experience within manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a Sales Leader or Sales Manager position.
• Proven experience in plastic packaging, plastic trays, thermoforming, vacuum forming, automotive parts/trays, electronics converting/die-cutting, or related industries.
• Strong experience in hunting new customers and managing existing accounts, particularly OEMs and multinational companies.
• Existing customer relationships or network within automotive, electronics, food, home appliances, toys/cosmetics, or industrial sectors will be an advantage.

Technical / Functional Expertise

• Good understanding of the end-to-end commercial process, including RFQ, sampling/mould development, costing, tooling, and mass production.
• Familiarity with materials such as PET, PP, HIPS, and foam.
• Experience developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
• Strong capability in managing key accounts and strategic customer relationships.
• Ability to manage the complete sales cycle and coordinate effectively with technical and operational teams.
• Strong market analysis capabilities, including monitoring customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Business-level English proficiency is required.
• Possesses a valid SIM A (driving licence).
