HR Manager (Consumer Goods)

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with a leading organisation in the Consumer industry to hire an HR Manager. This opportunity is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role offers the opportunity to lead key HR functions and support both corporate and manufacturing operations within a dynamic multinational environment.

Position Overview

Lead and oversee core Human Resources functions across recruitment, rewards, people development, and HR operations.
Drive HR excellence by partnering with business leaders to strengthen workforce capability, operational effectiveness, and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee key HR functions including Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, People Development, and HRIS.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities and ensure timely fulfillment of workforce requirements across corporate and manufacturing operations.
• Oversee Compensation & Benefits processes, including salary administration, employee benefits, and related HR programs.
• Drive people development initiatives to strengthen employee capability and support business requirements.
• Oversee HRIS and employee data management, ensuring accurate and effective HR processes and reporting.
• Partner closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and provide practical HR solutions.
• Work closely with the broader HR and business teams to ensure effective execution of HR policies and people initiatives.
• Ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently and consistently across corporate and manufacturing locations.
• Support and drive HR initiatives requiring strong execution, coordination, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR leadership role.
• Experience managing HR within a sizeable and complex workforce environment is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting both corporate and manufacturing or operational employee populations would be advantageous.
• Proven experience managing and developing HR team members.

Technical / Functional Expertise

• Strong and well-rounded exposure to Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, People Development, and HR Operations/HRIS.
• Strong business partnering experience, with the ability to understand business needs while maintaining deep functional HR expertise.
• Experience overseeing HRIS, employee data management, and HR reporting processes.

• A hands-on and execution-oriented leadership style, with the ability to translate priorities into practical action and drive initiatives through to completion.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
