Job Description
- Lead and manage all operations of the Chinese Kitchen, ensuring the preparation, presentation, and consistency of authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine while meeting hotel brand standards, guest expectations, and operational requirements.
- Train, coach, and develop the Chinese Kitchen team by providing continuous guidance on culinary techniques, food presentation, productivity, and adherence to standard recipes, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop, review, and enhance Chinese menus, seasonal promotions, and specialty dishes in collaboration with the Executive Chef, balancing authenticity, creativity, market trends, guest preferences, and profitability while maintaining food cost targets.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards, while effectively managing kitchen inventory, purchasing, equipment maintenance, labor productivity, and cost control to achieve operational excellence and support the overall success of the Food & Beverage department.
