Sales Specialist - East Java

About the Company

Geekhunter is recruiting on behalf of our client, an Indonesian company engaged in the manufacturing, distribution, and trading of office stationery and filing products.

Job Responsibilities

• Achieve General Trade (GT) sales targets in the East Java region.
• Develop and expand distributor networks, retail channels, and new business opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide appropriate product solutions based on customer needs
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance, customer feedback, and competitor activities
• Analyze market trends, product movements, and competitor strategies, then provide insights and recommendations to management
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, stock availability, and customer support
• Monitor customer payment performance, credit limits, and credit utilization to ensure healthy account management
• Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, and business development plans
• Represent the company professionally in the market and strengthen brand presence in the assigned territory

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any major
• Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience in the Tools industry (Power Tools, Hand Tools, Industrial Tools, or related products)
• Strong understanding of tools, products, distribution channels, and market trends
• Experience handling General Trade (GT) channels and distributor management is preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Target-oriented with a proactive and positive working attitude
• High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism
• Willing to travel extensively for business trips across the East Java area
• Able to communicate in English at a conversational level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting is an advantage
