About the Role: As a sous chef, you will play a critical role in our kitchen management team, working closely with the Head and Executive Chef to ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence. You will also be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing food preparation, and supervising kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Head Chef to create and refine menu items.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operation.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and kitchen procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENT

- Minimum certificate IV in commercial cookery or higher
- At least 2 years of experience after completing education.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, creativity in menu planning, excellent time management, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Food Safety and Hygiene certifications preferred.
