Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in industrial products. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 8-10 years' experience in rotating equipment for the job of Senior Sales Engineer - Power Plant Sector. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Report directly to the Head of Sales
- Implement sales objectives and strategies for assigned customers within defined region and sectors.
- Develop distributor for assigned industry segment within defined region and sectors.
- Establish contacts with major MRO & OEMs of specified industry filed and giving these customers technical support and service;
- Observe technical details by visiting application site frequently in order to secure suitable bearing supply;
- Travelling within defined region to support sales growth.
- Report timely marketing information and competitors' information to managers;
- Assist organizing technical seminar by technical experts;
- Expand market share with new customers with help of sales managers;
- Advise major end-users on bearing application related problems;
- Conduct product presentations and practical training seminars;
- Investigate bearing demands in specific industries;
- Provide quality after-sales service to customers (Mounting supervision, bearing failure inspection, etc).
- Ensure meeting annual sales target.
- Monitor on customer overdue payment and follow up with customer for payment to reduce DSO.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management Engineering related education background preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in distribution or channel management in power plant market
- Ability to think outside of the box, creativity, and down to earth mentality
- Strong knowledge on rotary and linear bearings, and basic knowledge in electrical direct drives
- Strong interest in sales, project management, customer-oriented mindset with proven sales record
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Result-oriented and dynamic person
- Strong logical, strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Good organizational skills incl. time Mgmt.
