IT Business Analyst - API/Integrations (Banking Solutions)

About the Client:
Our client was founded in 2017 and is based in Melbourne Australia with the aim of helping banks, fintechs and other regulated entities manage their regulatory compliance with their single API and dashboard, which connects to hundreds of global identity and fraud-monitoring providers across the world. They also make it easier for our clients to scale and onboard customers by providing a better and more cost-effective user experience, whilst also potentially saving them millions of dollars in regulatory fines and protecting their customers from fraud.

Requirements :

• Worked in a remote teams for an offshore client
• 5 years of experience in business / technical analysis and design, ideally within the financial services industry
• Has experience as Developer / started career path as Developer
• English Skills is a must
• Able to join ASAP
• Worked in a fast-paced environment within cross-functional teams, balancing priorities with getting things done
• Built a passion for solving complex problems using simple solutions that are well-thought out and resilient
• Experience of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
  Experience with solutioning REST API interfaces along with implementing complex integrations
• Understands and has experience designing API, json and writing Swagger specifications
• Supported leading end-to-end delivery of features from analysis to production
• Developed strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience across both internal and external business and technical stakeholders
• Built strong knowledge of software development processes, procedures, limitations, and challenges
• Honed your analytical skills and are able to translate complex problems into stories that make sense
• Preferably worked in a SaaS product company
• Exposure to complementary skills in software development or QE

Customer focused

• You play a pivotal role in optimising the customer experience, and building a deep understanding of our customers.
• You work with internal product and delivery teams to ensure the right customer problems are front and center.
• You create compelling user stories that support our teams building the right things for improvements and growth.

Analyse

• Lead discovery and scoping sessions and interviews to determine IT business requirements and then translate such into specifications for technical stories and features.
• Assist in business Change Management activities.
• Develop and implement inspection activities, the detection, and resolution of problems.
• Work with Engineering to ensure requirements have been met and features are delivered to the right level of quality.
• Build a deep functional and technical understanding of our products and leverage that knowledge when building new solutions
