What you’ll do

As a Medical Scientific Liaison at AZ, you will be accountable to:

• Build, enhance and maintain the engagement with scientific leaders (KEEs)

• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders

• Develop or initiate scientific programs to explore unmet medical needs in priority disease area(s).

• Act as scientific expert in priority disease area(s) for internal stakeholders

• Continuously demonstrate development of scientific expertise in disease area(s) of company focus

• Comply with relevant company and industry code of Conduct and also to comply with local country codes

Essential for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, or Life Sciences required; a Master’s degree in a scientific field is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge or experience in the pharmaceutical industry; knowledge and experience in oncology preferred.

• Strong ability to engage and manage various stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Familiarity with legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing.

• Understanding of key aspects within the area of field medical liaisons is an advantage.

• Experience in project and team management is an added benefit.

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

This role will be hired on a  contract-basis under 3rd party vendor (extendable subject to performance review and business needs).
