Job Description

As the Assistant Chief Butler, you will play a vital role in delivering world-class, personalized service to our esteemed guests, embodying Sofitel's Cousu Main service culture, the art of hand-stitched, bespoke hospitality tailored to each individual. You will support and inspire the butler team, ensuring that every guest's journey is exceptional, thoughtful, and tailored to their individual needs. 

• Supervise and coordinate daily Club Millesime operartions, ensuring a smooth and seamless service flow that reflects Sofitel's signature standards of excellence.
• Support Club Millesime Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Butler team, ensuring thoughtful, Cousu Main service is delivered across all suites, villas, and for VIP guests.
• Guide and support the butler team in delivering pre-arrival, arrival, in-stay, and departure experiences true to Sofitel standards.
• Ensure guest preferences, special requests, and lifestyle details are captured and shared accurately, so every stay feels effortlessly personal.
• Lead daily operational briefings and communicate important information across departments.
• Maintain an active, visible presence on the floor, guiding and inspiring the team to consistently deliver exceptional service.
• Engage with guests with poise, professionalism, and genuine warmth, ensuring every interaction reflects Sofitel's luxury ethos.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Concierge to orchestrate a truly seamless guest journey.
• Support the Chief Butler in training, coaching, and mentoring team members in luxury etiquette, communication, and emotional intelligence.
• Uphold grooming standards, performance, and service excellence within the butler team.
• Support and coach team members by providing guidance, encouragement, and real-time operational leadership.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment aligned with Sofitel's Heartist culture.
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and service quality.
• Maintain strong relationships with repeat guests, ALL – Accor Live Limitless members, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in luxury hotel guest services, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior butler role.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and overall hotel operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach multicultural teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
• Experience using Opera Cloud or other Property Management Systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
