GITC (Garuda Indonesia Training Center) is well located at Western Jakarta, one of the most developed area in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. During normal hours, it takes just about 30-45 minutes from Soekarno Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, as well as from downtown. GITC covers around 7 acres area consisting of training facilities and office buildings. From this location, Garuda Indonesia Group relies on the excellence and great talents of its employees. 

Five years after its first operation, in the early 1950s, Garuda Indonesia began its training for only flight crew and aircraft mechanic running with just a simple five class rooms. In line with the increasing demand from management and its customers for a high quality of training programs, GITC developed rapidly and had modern training facilities and infrastructure. And now, the training center has grown and become one of the reputable airline training institution. It has been running to serve a high quality of airline business and airline operation training programs to meet industrial standard.
